I find that names carry a lot of significance. It&#8217;s better be employed in a job than a chore. One implies importance and meaning; the other implies drudgery.<\/p>\n<p>But doggy pick-up truly is a chore. It&#8217;s loud for little ears, so Mark chooses his red ear protection and he&#8217;s ready to go.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.angelaross.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/DSC_7248.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4982\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.angelaross.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/DSC_7248.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"650\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.angelaross.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/DSC_7248.jpg 520w, http:\/\/www.angelaross.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/DSC_7248-240x300.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Here&#8217;s the list of the jobs the kids do on Saturdays:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">bedrooms: change sheets, clean, dust, and vacuum<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">help clean bathrooms<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">vacuum and dust family and living rooms<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">help with dishes<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">dust mop the hallways<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">clean, dust, and vacuum school room<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">clean up patio and lawn areas<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">help in the garden or other outdoor tasks<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">doggy clean up (we usually pay 10 cents per&#8230; you know)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">wash windows<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">put away laundry<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">fold towels or help with socks<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">One of Richard&#8217;s coworkers gave him a Wii because she felt sorry for us, the only family on the planet without computer games. It is not something we planned on purchasing, but we decided that since we have one, we will let the kids play it one day per week (Saturdays) after the jobs are finished.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I hope the Wii doesn&#8217;t take over our lives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I worry that it will.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I really don&#8217;t like the Wii.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Around our house we do JOBS, not CHORES.
