afternoons on the patio, whittling and drawing,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">stacks of library books,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">weeds in the beds,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">some time for friends,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">painstaking, personal work,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">a special visit with a woman\u00a0in my congregation,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">the importance of words,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">the importance of family, gathered around\u00a0my bed after a long day,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">appreciating being able to wear 2 matching shoes again,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">shopping for our first headboard, 20+ years into our marriage,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">playing Tim and Sam&#8217;s homemade game on family night,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">taking time to enjoy art books,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">taking time to play the violin,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">taking time to pray for people I have yet to meet,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">enjoying Richard&#8217;s smoked chicken for dinner,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">enjoying the boys&#8217; laughter over Lord of the Rings and Star Wars parodies,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">enjoying playing <em>Meditation<\/em> from <em>Thais<\/em> by Massenet,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">enjoying <em>Team of Rivals<\/em> by Doris Kearns Goodwin,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">enjoying\u00a0piano music\u00a0in the house, played at all hours,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">loving my friend&#8217;s poems, self-published and comforting,<\/p>\n<p
